1. NYCU International Student Scholarship
(1)General Information:
NYCU International Scholarships are available to outstanding degree-seeking international students with excellent academic and research records.
Selected students may be awarded monthly stipend and/or exemption from tuition fees.
(2)Amount:
- Undergraduate students: up to NT$21,000 (US$700) per month and/or tuition waiver.
- Master’s students: up to NT$22,000 (US$733) per month and/or tuition waiver.
- Doctoral students: up to NT$29,000 (US$966) per month and/or tuition waiver.
(3)Duration:
Up to 1 year
(4)Renewal:
At the end of the first award year, students may apply for NCTU International Scholarships for outstanding current students.
The scholarships for current students are awarded for a 1 academic year period in principle and may be reapplied and reviewed regularly based on applicants’ academic performance and research records and subject to a maximum number of years.

2. Taiwan Scholarship – MOE, MOFA, MOST scholarship
(1)General Information:
This scholarship is provided by the Taiwan government (the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology). For more details, please refer to: https://tafs.mofa.gov.tw/
(2)Tuition and credit fee:
- MOFA recipients will be provided with Tuition reduction (only need to pay the same tuition and credit fee rate as Taiwanese student).
- MOE recipients will be provided with a subsidy of full tuition fee and NTD$2,385 per credit.*
*MOE recipients who enrolled in NCTU GMBA will need to pay registration fee first and subsidy will be deposited to recipients after. For MOE recipients who enrolled in other program/department in NCTU, OIA will directly deposit the tuition and credit fee subsidy to University.

3. Other Scholarships
As one of the top departments in the field of Civil Engineering in Taiwan, our students are eligible for many kinds of scholarships offered by different institutions and companies every year.
Now there are at least 18 scholarships offered annually for our students to apply.
